Hunter Berg is one of the best basketball players to come out of the state of North Dakota. His accomplishments include Mr. Basketball in high school, All American in college, and numerous others. He was not only a great player but was also a great coach for the Tetons at Williston State College.

Jon Cole is a veteran sports anchor. Voted by his colleagues as the North Dakota Sportscaster of the Year in 1983, 1998, 2003, 2006 and in 2007. The high school gym in Williston High is also named after Jon Cole.
